These portraits are Friesians, some are of my mares, some of other geldings and stallions. The pieces range in size from 8" x 12", to 24" x 30", executed in graphite, and pastel pencil. Several of these are relatively quick but quite detailed studies, quite suitable for a display "family". Some are in private collections, while others are used regularly in "The Friesian", published quarterly by The Friesian Horse Association of North America.
